Every date on the King Cirox 2 Phinisi calendar is a 3D2N start, on a Monday or a Friday. Join the same sailing as 2D1N and you finish at Manta Point on day two. A date sails once four of the 6 cabins are booked; below that you move boat or take a refund. The 2027 dates are provisional, and today's fares apply until 2027 fares are issued.

What does a start date mean?

A date on the calendar marks the morning you are collected for a 3D2N sailing, and the calendar lists two weekdays only: Monday & Friday. Step aboard on a Monday and you step off on Wednesday. Step aboard on a Friday and you are ashore again by Sunday. Count three days from the date and the trip is accounted for.

The 2D1N option boards the same sailing at the same pickup. On day two the boat reaches Manta Point, you finish there, and a small transfer boat takes you to the pier in Labuan Bajo. You do not go on to Taka Makassar. The lowest 2D1N bunk is IDR 2,900,000 (≈ USD 178), against IDR 3,350,000 (≈ USD 206) for the lowest 3D2N bunk.

The only clock on the calendar is a window, not an hour: pickup between 10:00 and 11:00, at your hotel or at the airport, free of charge. The boat's notes say your guide gives the exact time one day before. The next dates on sale are below. Choose one, then name the cabin.

Departure calendar

How many cabins make a sailing?

Four. An open-trip departure sails once at least four of the 6 cabins are booked, on a boat that holds 23 berths at most. The threshold sits well below a full house, so a sailing needs part of the boat, not all of it.

Below four, the guests booked on that date are moved to a phinisi of the same class or higher, on the same dates, at no extra cost. The other choice is a full refund within 14 days. You decide which, and neither costs you anything.

That makes a date on the calendar an offer to sail, with the headcount to settle it. This site shows no live availability, so the page cannot tell you how a date stands. We can. Send the date and the cabin name on WhatsApp before you buy a flight, and the answer comes back in the same thread. A private charter works the other way round: you propose the dates, the boat is priced whole by guest band, and the minimum of four cabins does not apply.

What does provisional mean for 2027?

The calendar runs to the end of 2027, 127 start dates from today, and the 2027 ones carry a provisional tag. Provisional means the date follows the Monday and Friday pattern but the boat's own schedule has not confirmed it yet. A handful of 2027 dates are confirmed already; the rest keep the tag until the schedule catches up.

Fares are the second half of the answer. The 2027 open-trip fares have not been issued. Until they are, a 2027 date sells at today's fare list. Should the fare change before the balance is due, 30 days ahead of the start, you hear it from us first and may cancel without charge.

So a provisional date can be booked today, at today's fare, with two things still open: the confirmation of the day itself and the 2027 price. Before you fix flights to a 2027 date, ask whether it is among the confirmed ones. The full calendar follows.

What can change a day?

Three things can change a day, and each has a named source. The park's visitor quota decides between Padar and Gili Lawa on day two, and between Komodo and Rinca for the dragons; you state your choice when you book, and the quota says whether it holds. The harbour master's office issues each boat's sailing permit and checks the weather before it does. And the sea can swap a stop: Pink Beach for Namong, or Manta Point and Taka Makassar in the other order, depending on the tide.

A swapped stop belongs to the trip you booked. It is not a cancellation. The itinerary notice in the boat's booklets says destinations may change with weather, currents and the decisions of the park or port authorities, and we repeat it here so that you read it before the deposit.

Two windows frame the trip: pickup between 10:00 and 11:00 on day one, and the return to Labuan Bajo between 10:00 and 11:00 on day three. Book your flight home for the afternoon, after the return window. The route table below marks the choices and the swaps.

Which days does the open trip start?

Mondays and Fridays. Each start is a 3D2N sailing: board on a Monday and you are ashore on Wednesday, board on a Friday and you are ashore on Sunday.

Where does a 2D1N guest finish?

At Manta Point on day two. A small transfer boat takes you from there to the pier in Labuan Bajo, so you do not continue to Taka Makassar. Both lengths board the same sailing at the same pickup.

What happens if my date does not reach four cabins?
