King Cirox 2 Phinisi
Komodo private boat charter on King Cirox 2: two rate cards, five trip lengths, one price per boat
Updated 11 October 2026
A private charter gives your group all 6 cabins, the roof and the 6 crew for one to five days. The price is per boat, set by trip length and guest band: a 3D2N for up to five guests is IDR 47,500,000 (≈ USD 2,914) this year and IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) from January to July 2027. Park fees, guide and photographer are extra.
Two rate cards
Two tables price this boat, and the date of your first day decides which one applies. The current rate card covers departures to 31 December 2026. The boat's 2027 booklet covers 1 January to 31 July 2027. Both are printed below, one after the other.
Each card sets one price per boat for each trip length and guest band. For a party of one to five, a full day is IDR 30,750,000 (≈ USD 1,887) now and IDR 32,500,000 (≈ USD 1,994) in 2027; a 3D2N is IDR 47,500,000 (≈ USD 2,914) now and IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) in 2027. The bands are one to five guests, six to ten, and eleven to fifteen. Above fifteen, each extra guest adds a fixed amount, IDR 2,250,000 (≈ USD 138) on a 3D2N, up to 23 guests in all.
Inside a band the price does not move. Six guests pay the same as ten, so the eleventh guest is the expensive one: they move the whole group into the next band. Count heads before you write to us.
Departures after July 2027 have no printed rate yet. We quote them in writing once the boat's next booklet is issued, and not before.

The 5D4N route, day by day
This is the 5D4N route. It is the longest length the boat's booklet prices: IDR 65,500,000 (≈ USD 4,018) for a group of five or fewer now, IDR 69,000,000 (≈ USD 4,233) in the 2027 booklet. It is a charter length only; the open trip never runs five days.
The first three days follow the 4D3N: Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong; then Padar, Komodo Island and Pink Beach; then Gili Lawa, Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Siaba. Day four takes in Senator, then Kanawa and Sabolon. Day five visits Rangko Cave and Seture before the run back to Labuan Bajo.
Against a 4D3N at IDR 58,500,000 (≈ USD 3,589), the fifth day costs the gap between the two prices. Groups above fifteen add IDR 3,750,000 (≈ USD 230) per extra guest.

Per head, band by band
A charter price divided by the people who share it is the figure most groups actually compare. On a 3D2N at the current rates, ten guests pay IDR 5,100,000 (≈ USD 313) each, fifteen pay IDR 3,800,000 (≈ USD 233) each, and a full boat of 23 pays IDR 3,260,000 (≈ USD 200) each.
Hold those numbers against the bunk price. One Gresik bunk on the open trip is IDR 3,350,000 (≈ USD 206), and a place in a private cabin is IDR 4,300,000 (≈ USD 264). For a large group the charter can come out close to the open-trip fares, with the whole boat, your own route and your own times.
For a couple the arithmetic runs the other way. Two guests on a 3D2N charter pay IDR 23,750,000 (≈ USD 1,457) each. Put plainly: if you are two, the open trip is the cheaper way onto this boat, and a charter is what you pay for privacy.
The table below runs every length and headcount. How children under 3, who travel free, count towards a band is set out in your written quote.

Inside the charter fare, and park fees
The charter fare includes free pickup in Labuan Bajo, all meals cooked aboard by the chef, free-flowing water, tea and coffee, linen and towels, masks and snorkels, the canoe, the karaoke and sound system, Starlink Wi-Fi on board, and the cruise director, chef and boat crew. In the photos the chef's dishes go out on leaf-shaped plates, set down the middle of the black glass-top table.
A charter of any length leaves out two things the open trip includes: a local guide, and photo and video documentation by GoPro, mirrorless camera and drone. We add either on request, each priced as its own line. Also outside the fare: flights, insurance, personal spending, tips, and fins, which the boat does not carry.
Park fees are outside every fare. Under PP 36/2024 a foreign visitor pays IDR 250,000 for each day inside Komodo National Park; an Indonesian citizen pays IDR 50,000 on a weekday or IDR 75,000 at the weekend. Ranger and pier levies are paid separately and subject to change, more often than the entry fee, so we send the current list in writing with your balance invoice. The table below shows the figures we have verified.

If King Cirox 2 cannot sail
On the morning of departure a boat can be kept tied up for two reasons: something mechanical fails, or the harbour master or the national park tells it to stay in port. Neither is the guest's doing, and neither should cost you the trip.
So the rule is written down. If King Cirox 2 cannot sail on your dates for either reason, your group sails on the same dates aboard another phinisi of the same class or higher, and pays nothing more. Turn the replacement down and the full amount comes back within 14 days. The choice is yours, and you make it in writing.
This covers the boat. It does not cover the sea itself. Once you are under way, the captain, the weather and the park can still change the order of stops or replace one with another, and the booklet says so plainly: the itinerary may change with the sea, the weather and the agreement of the group on board. That is a change of route, not a cancellation, and it carries no refund.
Read this section before you sign, along with the deposit and refund rules below.
Deposit, refunds and payment
Paying 50 per cent holds the whole boat for your dates, and the rest falls due 30 days before departure; inside that window you pay everything at booking. Prices include VAT at 11 per cent.
The refund scale has three steps. Sixty days out or more, 50 per cent of the fare returns to you. From 59 down to 30 days, 25 per cent. Under 30, none. A date change is cheaper than any of those: nothing at 30 days or more, IDR 500,000 at 14 to 29 days, and at 13 days or fewer the change is treated as a cancellation. Money owed to you is paid within 14 days.
Wise, Revolut, PayPal, a card link, QRIS, Alipay, WeChat Pay through a payment partner and a rupiah bank transfer all work. PayPal adds 7.2 per cent; a card link shows its fee on the invoice before you pay.
These are our terms for every booking made through this site. Soon after the deposit lands you have a written confirmation in the same WhatsApp thread: boat, dates, guests, amount paid and the date the balance is due.

FAQ
What happens if King Cirox 2 breaks down before our charter?
Your group moves to a phinisi of the same class or higher on the same dates, paying nothing more, or, if you prefer, takes a full refund within 14 days. A port or park order that keeps the boat in harbour is covered in the same way.
Which rate card applies to a charter in 2027?
The 2027 booklet, 1 January to 31 July 2027: IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) for a 3D2N with up to five. Later dates wait for a new card.
Is a guide included on a private charter?
No. On a charter of any length the local guide and the photo and video documentation are outside the fare, and we quote them separately if you want them. They are included on the open trip. The cruise director, the chef and the boat crew come with every charter.
We are 18 people. How is that priced?
You pay the eleven-to-fifteen band, then a fixed sum for each guest above fifteen. On a 3D2N at the current rates that is IDR 57,000,000 (≈ USD 3,497) plus three times IDR 2,250,000 (≈ USD 138). The boat takes up to 23 guests, so 18 fits with room for five more. The beds are Gresik's four bunks, the extra beds in the five private cabins, and one extra bed in Gresik, which is the 23rd place; we send you a rooming plan with the quote so you can see who sleeps where before anyone pays.
Can we charter for a single day?
Yes. A full day costs IDR 30,750,000 (≈ USD 1,887) in the smallest band. The boat's booklets print no fixed day route, so we agree the stops with you before the deposit; our sample is Kelor, Rinca and Manjarite, back in Labuan Bajo before sunset.
Are 2027 dates open for booking now?
Yes. The 2027 open-trip dates are on the calendar, on the boat's Monday and Friday sailings, and any 2027 date can be reserved for a private charter. Charters from 1 January to 31 July 2027 use the 2027 rate card on this site; later 2027 dates are confirmed in writing before any deposit. The 2027 open-trip fares have not been issued, so the current fare list applies; should a fare move before your balance falls due, we write to you first and you may cancel free of charge.
