Privacy policy: what King Cirox 2 keeps from your messages and your booking

Updated 11 October 2026

We keep what a booking needs and nothing else: your name, number or email, trip details, and at booking the passport names the park and port require. The crew sees the cabin plan and any allergy note. This site sets essential cookies only. The data controller is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, under Indonesian law.

What you send us

A first message hands us three things: your name, the number or address you wrote from, and everything you say about the trip: the month, the number of guests, children's ages, the cabin you want, your hotel and your flight.

A booking adds three things. First, every guest's name exactly as printed in the passport, and the passport number, about a week before sailing. Second, any allergy, diet, medical condition or mobility limit you choose to tell us, because a chef who has not been told cannot cook around it. Third, the payment record: the amount, the date and the name of the payer.

Card numbers never reach us. You type them on the payment provider's page, and we see only that the payment arrived.

We collect nothing from children directly. Anything we know about a child, down to whether they are under 3 and sail free, reaches us through the adult who makes the booking.

Who sees which line

Each person sees the part of your booking their job needs, and no more:

  • The crew: the captain, the cruise director and the chef see who sleeps in which of the six cities, Malang to Madiun, plus any note on allergies or health.
  • The park and the port: names and passport numbers go to the park's SiOra ticket system and to the harbour's e-boarding manifest, which checks each pass against the passenger's own name.
  • The driver: your name, your hotel and your pickup slot.
  • A partner hotel: your name and dates, only if you book the room through us.
  • Payment providers: enough to process the amount you send.

Your details are never sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing. If a duty under Indonesian law obliges us to share a record, we comply and tell you where the law allows it.

Ask for a quote and never book, and nothing leaves the desk at all.

WhatsApp, email and this website

WhatsApp messages travel through WhatsApp, which Meta runs under its own terms. The desk keeps your thread, so whoever answers next knows what was agreed, from the flight advice to the fare. Email sent to sales@kingcirox.com is forwarded to the operator's central inbox and kept with the same booking.

This website sets essential cookies only: the small files that remember your language and let a page work. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking that follows you to other sites.

The WhatsApp buttons and the hotel map links open services outside this site. Those services apply their own privacy policies, which we do not control; read them if that concerns you.

A practical note: a screenshot of your passport sent on WhatsApp sits in that thread. If you would rather not leave it there, send the names and numbers as typed text, and ask us to delete the image once the park tickets are issued.

Keeping, copying and deleting

Booking records stay for as long as Indonesian tax and accounting rules require: invoices, payments and refunds, which we pay within 14 days when one is due. An enquiry that never became a booking is kept for a shorter time, then deleted.

Three requests are yours to make: see your record, fix it, or erase it. Send which one you want to sales@kingcirox.com or on the WhatsApp number you booked from. We may ask you to confirm who you are, so that nobody else can erase or read your record. Where the law makes us keep a line, such as an invoice, that line stays and the rest goes.

Deleting our copy of a WhatsApp thread does not delete the copy on your phone or the one Meta holds; you manage those inside WhatsApp.

This policy is governed by the law of Indonesia, including its Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022). Responsibility for your data sits with PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia (NIB 1805260128363), the company that holds your booking in Labuan Bajo.

FAQ

Why do you need my passport number before the trip?

Because park tickets are issued in your name through SiOra, and the harbour's e-boarding pass must match the passenger manifest name by name. We ask a week before sailing and use the number for those two things only.

Does this site track me with cookies?

No. It sets essential cookies only, such as your language choice, and nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking. Questions go to sales@kingcirox.com.

Can I have my WhatsApp messages with you deleted?

Yes. Send the request on the same number or to sales@kingcirox.com. We delete the thread from our records once the booking, any refund within 14 days and the invoice obligations are settled; the invoice itself stays because Indonesian law requires it. Your own copy and Meta's copy are separate, and you delete those in WhatsApp.
