King Cirox 2 Phinisi

Komodo corporate retreat: the whole of King Cirox 2 for a team of up to 23

Updated 11 October 2026

A company takes King Cirox 2 Phinisi as a whole-boat charter, priced by headcount: IDR 57,000,000 (≈ USD 3,497) for 11 to 15 people on 3D2N, plus IDR 2,250,000 (≈ USD 138) per person above 15, up to 23. Meetings are set at the dining table, which the photographs show laid for sixteen. If the boat cannot sail, we supply a phinisi of the same class or higher, or refund in full.

Headcount first

Charter prices step up in three bands, then by the head. For 3D2N the bands are IDR 47,500,000 (≈ USD 2,914) for five or fewer, IDR 51,000,000 (≈ USD 3,129) for six to ten and IDR 57,000,000 (≈ USD 3,497) for eleven to fifteen. Above fifteen, each extra guest adds IDR 2,250,000 (≈ USD 138), and the boat stops at 23.

Divide and the per-head figure falls as the team grows: IDR 5,100,000 (≈ USD 313) each at ten, IDR 3,800,000 (≈ USD 233) at fifteen and IDR 3,260,000 (≈ USD 200) at a full 23. The same bands apply to a single day (IDR 37,000,000 (≈ USD 2,270) for eleven to fifteen) and to 2D1N, 4D3N and 5D4N.

Two rate cards exist. The current one covers departures to the end of 2026; the boat's 2027 booklet covers January to July 2027, where the eleven-to-fifteen band for 3D2N is IDR 60,000,000 (≈ USD 3,681). The table below prints both. Finance teams tend to ask which applies: it is the date you sail, not the date you book. Give us the headcount and the month and we reply with one figure.

The meeting room is the dining room

The dining room on the main deck is the only indoor space that seats a team. It is enclosed and roofed, with a carpeted floor, a built-in bench along one wall, window openings onto the sea and one black glass-top table, photographed laid for 16 places, eight a side. There are power sockets on the wall, a water dispenser and a glass-door fridge.

It suits a morning session between Padar and the dragons, or for a strategy hour after dinner. Meetings on board or on an island are a service we arrange on request; the set-up is quoted in writing within hours.

No projector or screen is listed in the booklet. Starlink Wi-Fi is, and so is a karaoke and sound system. We do not promise a Starlink speed, and phone signal between islands is patchy, so send the slides before you board and print the agenda. For a team above 16, plan a session in two halves or move it to the roof deck. Tell us the agenda and we tell you where it fits.

Rooming a team

6 cabins, 23 berths at full stretch, five private bathrooms and one shared. Senior people go where you put them, but the layout makes some choices for you.

  • Malang and Madiun: balcony cabins for two, extendable to four.
  • Kediri: up to four, private bathroom.
  • Surabaya and Jember: up to three each.
  • Gresik: four single bunks, one extra bed and the one shared bathroom.

A team of ten sleeps in pairs across five private cabins and leaves Gresik empty. At fifteen you are either filling Gresik or adding extra beds, and at 23 you are doing both. Colleagues who will not share a bathroom should not be placed in Gresik; colleagues who will not share a room should be counted before you pick the band. Send us the list of names by seniority and we return a rooming plan with the bed plan below.

FAQ

What happens to our retreat if the boat cannot sail?

Your team still sails on its dates. If a breakdown, or an order from the harbour master or the national park, keeps King Cirox 2 in port, we move the group to a phinisi of the same class or higher at no extra cost; if you prefer, the full amount comes back within 14 days instead. That promise is ours, PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, and it applies to the whole charter, not to individual guests.

Is there a projector or screen for presentations?

None is listed. Bring a portable screen or print your material; the dining room has wall sockets.

Can the whole team eat together?

The dining table is photographed laid for 16 places, eight a side. For a larger team we confirm the seating plan with the crew in writing when we quote.

What is the deposit, and when does the balance fall due?

50 per cent of the charter price, then the balance 30 days before departure, by any listed method.

Can the team be collected from the airport as one group?

Yes. Pickup from the airport or a hotel in Labuan Bajo is free. A bigger vehicle, such as a Toyota HiAce, is an upgrade on request, quoted within hours.
